杨海棠教授个人简介 杨海棠，男，博士，教授，博士生导师，教育部新世纪优秀人才，第九批四川省学术与技术带头人后备人选，四川大学优秀青年资助者，四川省物理学会理事。已先后主持3项国家自然科学基金和四川省高校科研创新团队建设计划，青年基金。已完成20余篇论文，大部分发表于JHEP， PRD， PLB等刊物。
1995 毕业于北京交通大学通信与控制工程系，工学学士；1998于中国科学院应用数学所获得应用数学硕士学位； 2000年于Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis获得物理学硕士学位； 2006年于麻省理工学院 (M.I.T.)获得物理学博士学位(PhD)。2007年归国任电子科技大学教授，博士生导师。2012年加入四川大学任教授，博士生导师。
主要研究领域：
¡ 弦理论及相关的问题。包括弦的形式理论和低能有效理论等。近期的工作主要集中在双重场论和由弦低能有效作用量而导致的弦宇宙学结果，量子化弦宇宙学， Tachyon引导的弦宇宙学等。
¡ 引力理论，主要是黑洞和宇宙学的半经典量子化理论，各种量子引力模型。
¡ 基本粒子物理和量子场论，尤其是早期宇宙学中的粒子物理。

Dr. Haitang Yang is a full professor in physics department of Sichuan University. He received his PhD from MIT in 2006. His research interests are centered on string theory and gravity. Recently, his work is focused on exploring solutions of double field theory and connections between these solutions and cosmology. He is also working on extending DBI from string field theory and applications of this action to various cosmological problems. Tachyon driving cosmology is also his recent concern.
